Bloodgood Japanese Maples have leaves that are a deep red and bold color well into late summer. Upright, medium growth, broad crown, sun to partial shade.

Often referred to as Coral Bark Maple, the bark on new twigs turns bright coral red after leaves fall.

A very nice red palmatum, Fireglow tends to hold it's red color in the heat better than the Bloodgood and other red palmatums. New growth on this vigorous, upright cultivar is bright pink-red changing to a bright red that is held throught the summer without fading. Not as tall or widespread as the Bloodgood. Sun/part shade.

An upright-growing shrub, with deeply divided, serrated leaves that emerge bright yellow-green, edged in rose. The rose color then comes to dominate the leaf, leaving bright green centers. Later, the whole leaf becomes light green until fall, when the color again changes, this time to bright crimson. The tree's twiggy habit gives it a feathery appearance.

Brilliant rich, bright reddish purple spring color which becomes deeper as summer advances. Late summer the leaves become red bronze, but in deep shade are greenish. Fall tones are brilliant crimson and scarlet. Upright, medium growth.
